Open Archive File Online : Firefox Add-on ArchView
ArchView is the Mozilla Firefox add-on. It is a great add-on and very useful to check archive before downloading for virus or other malicious contents. It can open compressed file online without downloading it. It is fast because it fetches a small portion of archive file from server. It supports Zip, RAR,ISO formats. It supports http, ftp protocols.

It is not the alternative tool to replace 7-Zip, Winzip, or WinRAR. We can’t add or delete files in archive using this add-on. It doesn’t allow us to create a new compressed archive file. But it can deal with archive files on Web or FTP server. ArchView can work together with Firefox, that make open online archive file like normal web pages.
It allows us to download necessary data rather than the whole archive file. We can use it in any platform (It supports all platforms that Firefox can run). We can’t open SFX file using this add-on. We can’t open encrypted compressed archive.
