Native Language Text 2 Speech

This NaturalReaders application is wonderful tool for freshers and experts also. It allows us to experience listening to our e-mails, web pages, reports, text on our PC. There is no charge for using free version of NaturalReaders. This application supports English Language based Text to speech conversion.

I searched for Tamil (my native language) based Text 2 Speech application. I found mile online tool to do it.

It has very simple user interface. It is designed and developed by IISc (Indian Institue of Science), Bangalore.

1. Please open : http://mile.ee.iisc.ernet.in:8080/tts_demo/
2. Type some Sentences or copy paste some text on the text box.
3. Click on Submit button.
4. You will see the following message with download link : “Speech for your input text has been synthesized. Please click here to download the synthesized speech file.”
5. click on the link to download speech file which is in WAV format.
6. Play it in any media player in your PC.
